4 Hawthorn Hill Farm
We Love Farming!
We offer a wide array of garden vegetables including fresh or cured garlic plus blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and haskaps. Also available for sale at our table will be small and varied rug-hooked or felted artistic creations. Plus, we also sell skeins of yarn from our own flock of multi-coloured Shetland sheep.
We grow our farm products by using a combination of compost, sand, our own sheep and hen manures, bloodmeal, bonemeal and sea kelp to add fertility to our soils. We cover all garden plots not in use with green cover crops (buckwheat, oats and peas) to add organic matter to our soils, to suppress weeds and prevent soil erosion. Most of our vegetable crops are protected from damaging insects by the use of row covers and only organic-approved pesticides are used, if needed at all, on some fruits and vegetables.
We are so excited to be vendors at the North Mountain Market this season and are so proud to provide you with fresh, local produce grown on our farm in Grafton. We hope to meet you at the market!
If you would like to contact us before Market day to place an order then pick it up on Market day, please send us an email.
