Frayed Memories
Jasmine Lefler McDrago
has recently brought her craft onto the North Mountain. She is homesteading in Black Rock with her partner and two young daughters.
Jasmine loves working with her hands, using everything from fibre and wood to paper and soil. Jasmine learned to crochet from a friend in 2004, and has been happily hooking ever since.
One day in a thrift store, as she passionately bought up all the crochet paraphernalia that she could find, she bought an unusual crochet hook, to discover years later that it was for a special type of crochet… Tunisian Crochet.
She immediately tried to find out more about the special kind of crocheting, and the adventure began… she was hooked!
Jasmine creates her Sheepskin Slipper Boot using a mixture of standard and Tunisian crochet, which she sells to anyone who wishes warm cozy feet through the chilly weather.
She also makes a variety of all natural wool toys and play food for children of all ages,.and hopes to be able to share her love of crochet through workshops in the future.
Custom orders are welcome.
