Colleen passed away in July of 2016. She was tireless supporter and charter member of our North Mountain Market. She was a true friend to North Mountain United Tapestry.

Vibrant colours depicting Maritime scenes, flowers, objects and abstracts were her focus. The process typically started as a photograph. She then digitally painted and crafted the work to bring out outstanding colours and emotion.Works are available as:Ceramic Art TilesThese tiles are coated in Resin, making them water resistant and tough. These tiles can be used as trivets, accent wall or floor tiles, or simply art to be displayed.
Colleen Dagnall was a professional photographer and photographed weddings, commercial shoots, portraits and performance art in Nova Scotia . She took countless photographs of the music scene here in the Annapolis Valley, documenting with an artful eye the vibrancy of the musicians.
She covered events with Nova Scotia premiers John Hamm and Rodney MacDonald. In 2005, her work was featured in the book The Urban Loft by Martin Myers. In 2008, she photographed and co-authored the book Annapolis Valley Tastes. She did a number of home and food shoots for Lifestyle Maritimes Magazine. Colleen spent two years doing Real Estate photography of high-end homes for sale that were presented as virtual tours with still shots. She instructed photography workshops for Wedding Planning for wedding photographers and brides-to-be. Colleen was also a mixed-media artist and and beloved by her community.
