SUMMARY:December 24th Christmas Eve Service
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nHarbourville United Church\n The Harbourville Church has a long history of service to this small community on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. In 1857 John Lathcrn. a ‘second man’ to the Methodist pastor in the Cornwallis district\, developed an interest in the Fundy Shore. Three years later the church in Harbourville was designed b Rev. George Butcher\, a Methodist pastor. and built by John Clark. Construction costs were approximately $1000.00 and the church opened for use in 1860.\n          Over the years. the people of the Harbourville community held many fund-raising events on behalf of the little church on the cliffs to equip it with pews\, altar cloths\, hymn books\, and other furnishings. In 1925. the little Methodist church became the Harbourville United Church and to this day is part of the charge ministered from Berwick United.\n       Improvements have been made and through a seven – generation history has been cared for by the community members\, especially the women of the Ladies’ Sewing Circle. The ecumenical nature of the church is emphasized today\, welcoming all members of the community. Like the community our church has a long and rich history on the shores of the Bay.\n      Since 2013 Harbourville United with the vision of “North Mountain Tapestry”  has evolved to become a gathering place for the local community offering a weekly summer farmers market\, craft displays\, concerts and interesting speakers. We also hold 3 summer worship services and a Community led Christmas Eve Service

SUMMARY:July14th Church Service
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome the community to four church services this year on June 30\, July 14 and August 18\, 2024 at North Mountain United Tapestry at 11 am with Minister Sheila  Redden-Smith AND of course our wonderful community led Christmas Eve Service at 5:30 on Dec 24th. \n \nHarbourville United Church\n The Harbourville Church has a long history of service to this small community on the shores of the Bay of Fundy.

SUMMARY:Pennybrook Album Release ROW ON
DESCRIPTION:The return of Jude Pelley and Charlie Wilson\, known as “Pennybrook\,” to release their new album ROW ON is certainly a cause for celebration. Their blend of original instrumental compositions with a Celtic flair has warmed our little mountain church before. \nThe duo’s music\, described as atmospheric and rich\, seems to perfectly complement the ambiance of our mountain church setting. With Charlie Wilson on the Irish flute and whistles\, and Jude Pelley playing guitars\, mandolin\, and Appalachian dulcimer\, the audience is in for a treat of both traditional and contemporary Celtic sounds. \nIt’s great to hear that they will be joined by special guests\, adding even more excitement to the album release. Pennybrook’s dedication to their craft\, as evidenced by their previous album The Edge of Waiting released in 2021\, promises a memorable musical experience for all who attend. \nEnjoy the music and the celebration of ROW ON! \nThe Edge Of Waiting | Pennybrook (bandcamp.com) \n
